Experience:

Dr Ahsan Illahi has been working from 2008 in Department of health Government of Sindh.He had worked in Pakistan polio eradication program from 2014 to 2017 as a National STOP Officer in different district of Sindh province.After then completed two years of Advance Course in Field Epidemiology from CDC/ FELTP Pakistan.During training he investigated first case of COVID-19 of Hyderabad district as a field epidemiologist and remain part of diseases surveillance unit ( PDSRU @ DG Health Office Hyderabad). He joined DHO Malir office and worked as a District Focal person EPI ,DDSRU and lead trainer of Sindh Deworming initiative program from 2020 to Feb 2023. Now currently working as ISD Officer district Malir Karachi focusing on improvement of Grey areas under PEI/ EPI synergy mechanism a joint venture of EOC,EPI Sindh.

He remained as a Town Health Officer, Bin Qasim Town District Malir and was District focal person, CVC In charge in corona vaccination programs. Polio programs in distt: and town were supervised always. Lead Trainer of Sindh deworming initiative programs were supervised from 2020 to Feb 2023. Now currently working as Chief Medical officer and District prison and correctional facility Malir in various vertical programs of HIV, Hepatitis and TB control programs etc. Training and field programs are always remained as my favorite.
